Ms. Murray's Classes
Hello Families! We had a lovely week in preschool, especially playing outside! This week, we did some watercolor and acrylic paintings so we can decorate our classroom with some pre-k art work. We also played with the blocks to build tall structures and build small homes. The students and I talked and we were hoping we could create a small version of pre-k Middlesex with our blocks. We would love it if you could email me a photo of your house. I will print out each house, and tape them onto a block so we can "build" neighborhoods with our own houses. I will tape a photo of each child to the back of their block house so we will know which house belongs to which child. In the morning, we did a puzzle about things that go together. There were puzzle pieces such as a birthday cake and candles, or feet and socks. They worked with friends to find the matching pieces. Ask Your Child: Did you read a book about Mat Man and opposites this week? This can prompt a discussion about opposites. While reading the story to them I said a word and then ask them an opposite of something (i.e. sit, stand, and night, day). Have a great weekend! Ms. Murray
