Ms. Murray's Classes
Hi Pre-K Families! Announcements:
This week was a blast! The snow is slowly melting away, and we are enjoying the amount of water that is melting. Both classes spent a ton of time this week at the rock garden splashing around and investigating. On Tuesday, they found a stream of water from the melting snow, and put pine cones in as boats to watch them float down. On Wednesday, they found a worm and investigated where it was living. They enjoyed watching it wriggle around. The cafe is going well. They are serving any grown ups that stop in. April from the kitchen stopped in on Tuesday! Many of them are taking their food to go and then setting up a picnic in another part of the classroom. On Wednesday, we played with flour with cars and trucks. They enjoyed scooping and dumping it with the construction trucks we have. It was really fun to see them “pat” all the flour off of their clothes. They also enjoyed washing all the paint cups at the water table. On Thursday, we made a fun rain picture. I took a picture of each of them holding my umbrella. We put painters tape over the pictures and they used droppers to drop watercolor paint. Once it was dry, we took the tape off! It was really exciting. We also ate lunch outside on Thursday. After that, they worked together to carry the tables in, which took a lot of meaningful communication. Have a wonderful weekend! Deanna
